Data Center TourOur data center is a 10,000 square foot carrier-class facility located near downtown Los Angeles on Wilshire Blvd. This facility features redundant and clean power, redundant and efficient cooling, a fast and reliable network, tight security, and constant monitoring. Racks & EnclosuresRacks and enclosures within the data center are bolted securely to the floor and ceiling to prevent damage during an earthquake. Overhead raceways allow us to easily supply ethernet or fiber drops to each rack or enclosure. In addition to shared colocation space, secure cabinets and caged space are also available to clients with larger space requirements. A separate work room is available where customers can easily work on their equipment without the constrictions of working within the rack or enclosure itself. Power & CoolingThe electrical system of our facility features reliable 300 KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units and a private diesel generator in case of a utility power failure. The diesel generator provides 1.5 Megawatts of power and has a runtime of over 12 hours. For longer utility power outages, more fuel can be delivered by truck within 2 hours. Conditioned power is delivered to racks and enclosures by numerous power distribution units throughout the facility. Each rack or enclosure has one or more dedicated 20 amp power outlets. The facility features raised flooring and plenum cooling to efficiently maintain optimal temperatures inside the data center. The plenum cooling is powered by multiple redundant Liebert HVAC (High Volume Air Conditioning) units. Security staff are on site 24/7 to enforce security policy. A closed circuit television system is in place within our facility, as well as a secure magnetic keycard mechanism which controls access to and within the facility. Each client maintains an access list of personnel who are granted access to their equipment. Shared colocation space is escorted access only. An advanced monitoring system alerts personnel in the event of an unauthorized access, fire or smoke, abnormal temperatures, or issues with the power or environmental controls. In the event of a fire, our facility employs a dry pipe pre-action fire suppression system. The system operates in multiple zones, meaning fire supression is only discharged where fire or smoke is detected. Images: Secure Entry, Secure Entry 2, Fire Suppression System |
