About Our Network

The Server Logistics network is a fully redundant switched Ethernet architecture featuring intelligent routing for blazing fast performance and superior reliability. Our current network topology features a 10 Gigabit fiber connection to Hurricane Electric's international backbone, with a fully independent 10 Gigabit fiber connection featuring high performance bandwidth from Mzima. Network traffic is managed by fully redundant Cisco routers and switches.

Mzima Networks

Mzima Networks (http://www.mzima.net) has designed a completely fault-tolerant backbone network connecting to multiple Tier-1 carriers and numerous private peers to provide the highest performance and reliability to its customers. Mzima uses customized, proprietary software in combination with BGP4 routing to make on-the-fly routing decisions, constantly analyzing the many possible paths customer traffic can take. Their expertise and focus is on routing and traffic delivery, allowing customers to receive the benefits of well-managed multi-homed bandwidth without requiring the expertise, equipment or associated costs, as well as receive the benefits of direct private peering with end-user ISP networks.

Hurricane Electric

Hurricane Electric (http://www.he.net) has over 2000 BGP sessions with over 700 different networks via 20 major exchange points and thousands of customer and private peering ports. HE has at least four redundant 10 Gbps paths crossing the US, two separate paths between the US and Europe, and a 10 Gbps ring in Europe. Each of their core routers has a combination of backbone circuits, exchange ports, and private peering connections.
